Dr. R. N. Meena Is A Director In Directorate General Factory Advice Services & Labour Institutes, Ministry of Labour & ; Employment, Govt. Of India.
B.E. (Mech. Engg.) From University Of Jodhpur, Rajasthan In The Year, 1988. M.B.A In HRD From Indira Gandhi National Open University (Ignou), New Delhi. In The Year, 2006.
Ph.D. From Kota University, Rajasthan In Safety
Management In The Year ,2016.
Worked As Lecturer In Mechanical Engg. At Delhi College Of Engineering From 1990 To 1997 Trough Upsc Selections. Worked As Deputy Director At Ministry Of Labour & Employment, Govt. Of India, Mumbai Through Upsc Selection From 1997 To 2018 And Working As Director At Ministry Labour & Employment, Govt. Of India, Mumbai From 2018 To Continue.

MR. DILIP SONAWANE

Mr. Dilip Sonawane, Former Joint Director, Industrial Safety and Health, Government of Maharashtra, He Is a Techno Legal person having qualification as M. E. (Electrical) from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli and L.L.B. from North Maharashtra University).
He was the key member in the Drafting Committee for Amendment of Factories Act. 1948 and the State Rules made there under. Mr. Sonawane has travelled across the State of Maharashtra for inspecting the factories of Tata, Godrej, Birla Group, Reliance & many more MNC’s, PSU & Private Sector companies of India.
He was selected through MPSC and worked as Assistant Director, Deputy Director and Joint Director for 28 years in the Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health, Government of Maharashtra. During this tenure he was appointed for execution of the provisions of various Labour Laws pertaining to industrial safety, health and welfare of the industrial workers. such as

Factories Act- 1948, Maharashtra Factories Rules 1963 , Employee’s Compensation Act- 1923,

Rules Under Environment Protection Act-1986 etc.

He has enquired in to many Industrial Accident & suggested remedial measures for avoiding the reoccurrence of the accidents & hazards and got it implemented at the sites. He was appointed as Assistant Public Prosecutor for conducting the cases under Factories Act.
He has worked as member of the committee for appointment of Competent Person under the Factories Act who are authorised for examination of pressure vessels and Lifting Machinery, Safety Auditor for conducting safety audit in factories, Certifying Surgeon authorised to conduct the medical examination of industrial workers and find out the occupational disease if any, and First Aid Training Institute who are authorised to conduct First Aid Training programmes for industrial workers.
After retirement as Joint Director, he has worked for a year on the BOC Worker Welfare Board, Raigad for Assisting execution of the provision related to building and other construction work workers.
